Already in the UK – adores people and looking for a rural home as an only dog
Our gorgeous Pacho is looking for a rural or semi rural home where he has plenty of space to enjoy himself. He is a very affectionate, friendly boy and adores children, but would prefer to be an only dog , he likes all the attention for himself, and no small furries please!
Here is a recent update from Pacho:
My name is Pacho and I am looking for a home of my own. I am a 5 year old crossbreed, probably bit of Mastin/Ibizan hound,- who knows? I don’t, but I am a lovely boy and have been stuck in kennels far too long!
I really want humans to love and my own warm bed and a sofa would be nice too! I had a family when I first came over from Spain and they had grandchildren visit and I adored the little ones! Sadly next door had a small barky dog that kept trying to get into my garden. I am not keen on other dogs and cats, I do like my humans for myself. I wear a muzzle when out, which keeps me safe from other doggies that invade my space and makes my humans feel more comfortable.
Anyway, to get back to the small barky dog, the neighbours complained and said it was all my fault as I barked at their dog. They made my humans feel really sad and they were afraid to let me out in the garden, so they sent me back!! I was so, so sad. Don’t get me wrong, the kennels look after me really well, but it is not home!!
I am a very active boy, very bouncy and do love lots of exercise. I would love to learn cani cross or flyball – I think I would be really good at that. The nice behaviourist lady who visited me recently would be very happy to work with my new family to help me settle in.
Do you have a Pacho sized space for me? I would love to meet you If you feel you could offer a home to gorgeous Pacho, either as a foster or adopter then full behavioural support is offered and if you live close enough our behaviourist would be happy to meet you at the kennels in Lincolnshire for a meet and greet with Pacho. Are you his special human? He is waiting for you!

Pacho is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.
For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.
In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
