ANI – LOVES TO PLAY
Ani is currently in foster and the following information has been provided by her foster mum:
Ani is a little shy when she first meets someone new but if you have a dog with you, it’s about 10 minutes before she comes for strokes. She lays on her back and enjoys having her tummy stroked. Ani has 2 old bone fractures, one in her back right leg and one in her front left elbow. The bones have now fused and they are inoperable. This does not however stop her from being totally happy. She runs, jumps, play and eats with passion and has no issues at all performing any of these activities. She doesn’t need any special care, just good quality food. This deformity makes her even more special, if that’s even possible, as she has a special walks which makes her totally unique.she has a lot of energy and loves to play and chase other dogs, steal their balls and roll over. She can stay home alone, does her business outside and hardly barks even when the other dogs in the home are barking. her tail is always wagging, if you look at her she comes over with her tail wagging. She is affectionate and learns quickly. She also lives with 2 cats and 3 dogs. She’s a little superstar that deserves a forever home.

Give him a home and he will be your best friend
Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.
Height: approximately 65cm Weight: approximately 35kg
Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.
