Asia deserves a loving home

Asia, a stunning and energetic young girl eagerly awaiting her second chance at a forever home. Adopted as a young puppy in spring 2023, Asia is back at the pound due to no fault of her own. Her previous family struggled to meet her needs for physical and mental stimulation, which led to her return in September 2023 at the approximately age of 7-8 months old.

Initially challenged by life in a small cage for more than 23 hours a day at the pound, Asia has adjusted after the few months.

Asia loves people and shows a keen ability to learn, making her highly trainable. Asia craves human affection and delights in cuddles, showing her sweet and affectionate nature. Asia is full of potential and ready to thrive in the right environment.

In January 2024, Asia was temporarily placed in foster care due to flooding at the pound. During this time, she quickly adapted to family life, impressing her foster family with her quick house training and good behavior on walks. She bonded well with their Labrador and enjoyed being close to her foster family, craving affection and companionship.

Despite her temporary foster success, Asia finds herself back at the pound and is now looking for a committed family. She thrives on activity and companionship, making her ideal for a loving, active home willing to invest time and attention in her development. Asia is truly a spectacular dog deserving of a family that will cherish and nurture her. Could you be the one to give Asia the loving home she needs and deserves.

Here she is in March 2024

Amigo is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
