Bruno

Bruno went into foster in December 2022 when he had just arrived at the pound. He has now been with the foster for almost 3 months and they tell us this about Bruno:
“Bruno is a good dog, sociable and very affectionate. He gets along with all animals, although he is a bit intense with my cats (he wants to play and my cats don’t want to play with him). He gets along well with all the dogs he has met so far, in my house there are 5, males and females, and when he meets dogs on the street he wants to play with everyone.
He is typical puppy, playful and lots of energy, he is full of beans. He would do great in a home where there are other dogs with whom he can play and spend some of that energy or with a family that can take him out for long walks.
At first he is a bit shy with new people but as soon as he gains confidence, he is very affectionate.
Since we took him home, he has only peed inside the first day, and then always outside. He pulls a little on the lead because he wants to smell everything, but he isn’t that big, so he is manageable.
He doesn’t like to be alone, he is always looking to be with another dog or people.”

April 2023: Bruno is now back at the pound.

Bruno is available for adoption in the UK.  Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK £570, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.  For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
