Buñuelo – A Sweet Young Soul Ready for a Fresh Start…

Buñuelo is an absolutely gorgeous young boy, just around 11 months old. When he first arrived at the pound, he was understandably a bit unsure and overwhelmed by the new and chaotic environment. Imagine being surrounded by barking dogs and unfamiliar faces – it’s a lot for a young dog to take in.

However, in just a couple of weeks, Buñuelo has shown how resilient and gentle-hearted he truly is. He has begun to settle in and is now showing his sweet and loving nature. Despite spending over 23 hours a day in a tiny cage, Buñuelo’s spirit remains hopeful. He lives on his own in his little cage, but during his daily break, he shares the patio space with another male dog – showing he’s sociable and open to canine company.

Buñuelo deserves so much more than life in a cage. He deserves a family that will show him the love and care he has been patiently waiting for. This young soul is ready to thrive in a home where he can feel safe and cherished.

Buñuelo Update – July 2025 🐾

About a week ago, Buñuelo (Bulow) moved into a foster home – and he is thriving! He is getting along wonderfully with all the other dogs and absolutely loves running freely on the large piece of land surrounding the house.
Recently, he even accompanied his foster to a café, where he behaved beautifully – calmly waiting by the chair and enjoying the outing.
Even though Buñuelo is now in foster care, he is still looking for a forever home of his own. Could that home be with you?

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
