Candela- a sweet girl

Candela arrived to a pound in the north of Spain  in 2019. She was found on the streets completely emaciated.

On the pound she became best friends with Estrella and both supported each other during the tough Spanish winters. Estrella has now been adopted and Candela has lost her best friend and does not understand why she is not sharing a cage with her anymore.

So, we are looking for a wonderful family who will give Candela her chance so she too can get to know what having a family, a warm bed and good food on the bowl feels like.

Candela is bloated due to the terrible diet of just raw bones given to the dogs in this particular pound. Once she is eating a healthy nutritious diet she should lose quite a lot of weight and show us a much leaner dog.

Will you give Candela her chance to a happy life?

Give him a home and he will be your best friend

Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.

Height: approximately 65cm  Weight: approximately 35kg

Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.

Here he is in his own video in May 2019
