Epi,(and his brother Blas) a real sweetheart

Epi and Blas were two abandoned puppies which ended up in a notorious harsh pound in the north.  They are delightful. Both dogs can be adopted separately. They would be difficult to distinguish if it were not for Epi’s amazing ears which are unmissable.

Epi is a crossbreed and it seems he is going to be a medium size dog, definitely not big. He is a puppy, he just wants to play and most of all to be loved and what he needs now is a wonderful home to teach him to be a pet.

He has been moved to a residence so as to protect him as these young dogs do not survive for long in these harsh conditions. He now needs a home.   More photos will be posted soon so you can see what a beauty Epi is.

Give him a home and he will be your best friend

Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.

Height: approximately 65cm  Weight: approximately 35kg

Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.

Here he is in his own video in May 2019
