Kamali

Kamali wasn’t well at the pound so luckily she went into a foster family. The foster home has 7 other dogs, cats and a ferret and Kamali is doing so well with all of them, she has settled in so quickly.

The foster family has told us the following: The dogs live together without any problem; they all eat side by side and respect each other’s food. She’s good with kids, loves people, really likes cuddles and especially sleeping in the bed with me every night. She always waits patiently at the door to the bedroom when she has finished eating so that we will open the door and she can go to bed. She doesn’t destroy anything in the house, and she is allowed to roam free while I work in the living room. She’s calm, patient, well-behaved, and is a quick learner. She already knows how to sit and give a paw. She’s great on walks as well. She is a sweet and loving girl.

Kamali is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females. Adoption costs to the UK £520, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.  For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £520 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
