Kiara – A Gentle Soul in Need of Kindness…

Kiara is a beautiful, approximately 9-year-old dog who recently arrived at the pound alongside two other dogs. The trio’s condition was heartbreaking, revealing a long period of neglect. Kiara’s frail body bore the signs of prolonged hardship – her coat showed visible skin issues, and she was covered in ticks.

Despite the challenges she must have faced, Kiara’s spirit remains unbroken. She is a remarkably sweet and gentle soul who, despite her past, still shows a desire for love and kindness. Kiara moves slowly, as if the weight of her difficult life still lingers, but when she looks at you with her soulful eyes, it’s clear that she longs for a safe place to rest and heal.

Kiara deserves to experience warmth, comfort, and compassion – perhaps for the first time in her life. She needs someone who can show her that not all humans are unkind and that she is worthy of being cherished. Kiara’s heart is ready to trust again, and she dreams of a calm, caring home where she can finally feel safe.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
