LAILA – A SHINING STAR
When Laila arrived at the pound she was petrified. She had a lack of fur around her neck where it looks like she has been kept on a thin piece of rope for a long time. Since she has arrived her confidence has built and she enjoys the company of other dogs and people. She gets on with all dogs, no problem at all.
During the floods in January 2021 Laila went into a foster home with 3 other dogs and is proving to be a dream and has taken a real shine to her new foster dad and loves cuddling up with him on the sofa. She is a blanket thief – something she started at the pound when she couldn’t believe her luck when she was given a thick blanket to sleep on. She dragged it all around her cage and wouldn’t leave it. Nothing has changed in her foster home. Any blanket she find, it’s hers to sleep on! She is learning to walk on the lead and encounter new things in the big wide world. She would suit an experienced family used to timid dogs and a home with other dogs where she can follow their lead. Her fantastic foster family are working patiently on her anxieties and her new family will need to continue their good work.
Laila is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females. Adoption costs to the UK £390, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.
