Lina
Lina is a sweet and lovable girl looking for her forever home! She arrived at the pound in July 2024 with quite a story to tell.
This friendly girl was found on the street in poor condition. A kind family took her in temporarily, hoping to find her a permanent home. Unfortunately, Lina had an accident with a horse and needed surgery on her leg. The foster family, unable to provide the special care she needed, arranged for her to recover at a pet boarding facility.
After two months of healing, Lina has made great progress. She’s now back at the pound, almost fully recovered from her injury. Though she’s currently in a small cage, Lina’s spirit remains bright and loving.
Lina has a wonderful personality – she’s affectionate, cheerful, and sweet. She’s an active girl who enjoys the company of other dogs.
This lovely young dog is now ready to find her perfect family. With her loving heart and playful spirit, Lina would make a fantastic companion for the right home. She’s been through a lot in her short life and deserves a family who will cherish her forever.
OCTOBER 2024: 🌟 Lina in foster 🌟
Lina was recently rescued from the pound after it flooded last week. She had been living in a tiny, uncomfortable cage, and her foster family says she’s now thriving outside those walls! It’s clear that Lina has been missing affection for a long time, and she’s now soaking up every bit of love and comfort she can.
Lina is currently in foster care with Stich, a male PPP breed, and a female Chihuahua. She’s fantastic with children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—she rarely leaves Stich’s side! 🐾 Playful and sweet, she constantly seeks out cuddles and attention, showing just how much love she has to give.
At mealtimes, she used to be a bit too eager, jumping up for attention, but she’s already learning her manners and now just sits and watches.
Lina is an incredible girl who deserves a loving forever home where she can continue to feel safe, cherished, and free. 💖
Could that home be with you?
Lina is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.
Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.
For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.
In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
