Palomitas

Palomitas, a beautiful and friendly girl who arrived at the pound with her pal Tigre. This social butterfly gets along splendidly with all dogs and is a joy to have around. Palomitas is a perfect travel companion, behaving wonderfully in the car, and she’s a dream on walks. This lovely lady is searching for a loving home where she can share her affection and enjoy life to the fullest. Could you be the one to give Palomitas the happy ending she deserves?

November 2024 Update: Tigre & Palomitas has Return to the Pound 🐾
Following the recent flooding at our pound, Tigre and Palomitas spent several days at a temporary foster location. They’ve now returned to us, and we wanted to share their foster’s experience.
During their time in the foster’s outdoor pen, these two sweet souls continued to show what wonderful dogs they truly are. Despite the temporary arrangement, they demonstrated their gentle nature and excellent behavior that we’ve come to know so well at the pound.
Their foster shared this heartfelt message: “With a sad heart, we say goodbye to Tigre and Palomitas as they leave our Finca. We had the privilege of fostering them during the pound floods, and they’ve truly touched our lives. These two are gentle, playful, and so loving—they absolutely adore people and are a dream to walk.”

They’ve now returned to the pound, where they wait patiently for their forever home. Both dogs are excellent on walks and show nothing but affection to the people they meet. They’re ready to become cherished family members and have so much love to give.

Palomitas is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
