PLUTO, A SENIOR CITIZEN WHO DEFINITELY ISN’T READY TO RETIRE
Pluto was heartlessly dumped at the pound by his owner after spending most of his life shut in a garage. Pluto has problems with his sight and we are not certain whether he is totally blind, but he uses scent a lot to guide him. This doesn’t stop him leading a normal life and he can run around and enjoy cuddles just like all the other dogs at the pound. He is a happy active dog who should not be spending his twilight years in a noisy concrete pound.
As per February 2019 Pluto is in a residence/doggy day care in Spain where he has been for almost a year, since he went there during the floods. He is very happy there and has great fun playing with all his doggy friends. The only reason we and his carers would want to move him would be so he could have some undivided attention which he loves. Otherwise he can stay where he is until that perfect, devoted adopter comes along.
UPDATE MAY 2020 Due to unforeseen circumstances caused by the Corona virus pandemic, Pluto is now urgently looking for a forever home. He is a really good, sociable boy who loves other dogs and people. His eyesight doesn’t seem to be as bad as first thought and he leads a perfectly normal life. There’s definitely lots of life still in this old dog!
Pluto is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females. Adoption costs to the UK £350, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.
