REINALDO – HEARTBROKEN

Poor Reinaldo was found wandering the streets and was brought to the pound where it was discovered he had a chip. What a relief! Well no, his owner decided he was happy to be rid of his loyal friend and came and signed him over to the pound so he can be re-homed. The poor boy really doesn’t understand what has happened and spent the first week or so pining for his owner. He has since been moved into a pen with another dog where he is much happier but he is still stressed, continually look for and hoping his owner will come to collect him. Reinaldo is an older boy and quite overweight and is going to find his first winter in the pound very difficult. Reinaldo’s new family will hopefully have experience with this or a similar breed. We hope it doesn’t take too long for him to be that adoring dog he obviously was with  his previous owner.

Reinaldo is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.

Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.

Height: approximately 65cm  Weight: approximately 35kg

Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.
