ROCA – A BUNDLE OF JOY
When Roca arrived at the pound she was absolutely terrified and totally unsocialised with both people and other dogs. She was like a wild animal in her cage that couldn’t be touched. Well very quickly she realised that maybe if she trusted the volunteers she could be on to a good thing. And she has now decided that she absolutely loves everyone and cant get enough hugs and kisses. She gets on well with other dogs but can be a bit of a bull in a china shop so isn’t for the faint-hearted or small children. She will literally bowl you over with all the love she has to give. She is a strong girl but with some love and training she would make the most wonderful loyal companion.
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2019: Roca is still quite nervous in certain situations and we think the trip to the UK would be too traumatic for her. She would ideally be adopted by a family in Spain who are experienced dog owners and have the patience, time and love to introduce her to the outside world gradually.
Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.
