OCTOBER 2024: 🌸 Rosa in Foster Care! 🌸
Rosa is finally experiencing freedom and love after spending a year in a tiny cage at the pound. She was one of the lucky dogs rescued from the recent flooding and is now thriving in a foster home where she’s able to express her affectionate, curious nature.
Rosa is a big-hearted puppy who adores people and is always eager for affection. She gets along well with other dogs but prefers human companionship. In the house, she’s a dream: no barking, biting, or destruction—and she’s perfectly house-trained.
Outdoors, Rosa is a natural explorer. She loves cooling off in lakes, enjoying both the beach and the countryside. Tracking scents is her passion, and her foster family says she’s a little adventurer who makes sure no one gets lost in the countryside! She loves to stop during walks to pick up the scents carried by the wind, only moving forward once her human is by her side.
With her adorable face, incredibly soft fur, and calm nature (she barely sheds!), Rosa would be a wonderful addition to any family. And funnily enough, we think she’s never even seen a TV before!
Could you be the one to give Rosa her forever home? 🏡
Rosa is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.
Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.
For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.
In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
