Shadow – our lovely boy needs some light in his life

Shadow has been rescued from one of the notoriously terrible pounds of Orense  together with his friend Willow. We took him on when we heard that the family that owned him and Willow wanted them back and when let into the kennels by the council pound staff, they proceeded to hit the dogs as a punishment for having escaped. A volunteer from a local association denounced the situation which made it onto the papers but we were fearful for them and decided to rescue them and place them in boarding kennels under our sponsorship where we knew they would be treated with love.

Shadow who was very scared at first, is now thriving and loving the attention he is receiving. he cannot believe that nobody is  screaming at him or hitting him any more.   Although he arrived with Willow we feel that he can be adopted on his own as they are quite independent from each other.

This is the time for this dog who now deserves a loving home to care for him and give him the understanding and love that he needs.

Shadow is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Spain and many other countries. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females. Adoption costs to the UK £350, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.
