SIDRA – BORN HAPPY!
Poor Sidra arrived in a terrible state and we thought the worst, but it seems she was just neglected and had conjunctivitis and after only a few days of treatment and TLC she is as good as new. She was kept in a small cage when she first arrived and didn’t complain once, such a good girl. She is friendly and has become best friends with Thor, a very boisterous pitbull. She is fearless but is also sweet and gentle and gets on with other dogs. She also loves human company. She looks like she may be a Bull Terrier cross. A lovely girl…
UPDATE JANUARY 2019
Sidra has now been at the pound for 18 months and has had very little interest shown in her which is a shame as she is a gorgeous girl with so much love to give. One of the pound volunteers has started to take her out for walks – a dream come true for Sidra. These are a few words about her ‘Such a loving, sweet girl, putting her legs up on me often to say hi & coming to me when called. Very waggy indeed! In addition, she didn’t react aggressively towards cats. Great with passing cars & with the male dog out walking Great with all other dogs. Pulled on the lead, but she was desperate to get out, as you can imagine. Perfect girl!’
