Vampiro – A Loyal Malinois Looking for a Home..

Vampiro is a handsome 2½-year-old Malinois who has recently arrived at the pound. Like most dogs of this intelligent and active breed, he needs daily exercise to stay physically and mentally balanced.

Recently, Vampiro went on a walk with a family and their young daughter—and he was amazing! So sweet, patient, and gentle with her, proving what a wonderful companion he could be.

He gets along well with the other dogs at the pound and enjoys their company, but what he truly needs is a home with structure, engagement, and space to thrive. Regular walks, playtime, and stimulation will help him be the happy and loyal companion he’s meant to be.

Today was a very special day for some of our dogs. 🐾 Together with our wonderful volunteers, Bunny, Vampiro, Wax and Focus visited the Residencia de Ancianos in Los Barrios.
They brought so much joy and comfort to the residents, who were delighted to spend time with them, stroking them and enjoying their gentle company. After the visit, the dogs went for a little walk through the town, where they all behaved beautifully and showed just how well they can adapt to new situations.
Our volunteers were incredibly proud of them – and so are we! These moments remind us of how special our dogs truly are, and how much love they have to give to the right family.

At the moment, we have many Malinois at the pound, all waiting for someone to give them a chance. Vampiro is one of them — full of potential and longing for a family of his own.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
