Willow – A dog that needs some luck
Willow arrived to a council pound in the north of Spain with another dog, Shadow. Both dogs escaped from a family that mistreated them. The family tried to get them back and when the council pound staff let them into the kennel they proceeded to hit them as a punishment for having escaped. The story made it onto the newspapers thanks to a local charity that denounced the situation and also asked for our help. We could not say no and this is how Willow is now in local boarding kennels where for the first time in his life he is treated with the respect he deserves.
Willow needs an adopter who will give him all the love and attention he deserves and never had. He would be better as an only dog as we feel that the family had more dogs and Willow may have been treated badly whilst others received more attention. We want it to be his time now and for him to have his family to himself.
He is learning to enjoy life and we would be looking for an adopter that has experience with dogs. He is curious, and starting to feel more confident.
