ZEE – Already in the UK – Needing URGENT Foster or Adoption

Zee has been with her current Adopter for 3 1/2 years. She is a beautiful, loving, energetic 4 1/2 year old x breed who is sadly now looking for a new home/ foster through no fault of her own, due to a change in circumstances.

Zee thrives with an active daily routine and clear direction, she wants to be ‘doing something’ and she loves to be outdoors. She would be ideally suited to an active family who have a large secure garden, or access to a safe space where she can run.

Zee is used to living with a child, cats and another small dog – obviously, the usual careful introductions would be required. She would probably benefit from another active dog as a companion and is used to long walks where she can spend time running and sniffing.

Zee’s current Adopter has worked hard with her and she has good recall, is comfortable living in a home, polite and well mannered and is happy to sit and give a paw, lie down when told etc.  She only wants to please her humans and is very proud of herself when she does things right.

Please, if you can offer what Zee needs, consider her, she’s worked so hard to get to where she is, she really deserves it and in return will be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.

Zee is currently in the East Midlands and a meet and greet could be arranged for anyone in or who could get to that area, but transport can be arranged to take Zee to the right home anywhere in the country. Amigo is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
