KAIYA – THE FORGOTTEN ONE!

Poor Kaiya has been at the pound for almost 2 years and she has been totally forgotten. She’s not big and bouncy, she’s not demanding, she’s not shy and retiring, she’s not naughty, she’s not complicated, she’s not aggressive so the poor girl has just blended into the background. Kaiya is a medium sized dog who is a Shar Pei crossed with Staffie we believe. She is strong on the lead but just needs some training. She is an affectionate and gentle dog and enjoys playing and rough and tumble with other dogs. She really deserves to have a home of her own. Her ideal family will be used to Shar Peis, Staffies or similar breeds.

Give him a home and he will be your best friend

Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.

Height: approximately 65cm  Weight: approximately 35kg

Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.
