ROJA (WAS DENISE) – NEEDS A NEW HOME – IN FOSTER IN THE UK

Sadly Roja (was Denise) has come back to us. Her adopter has worked really hard with her and had a behaviourist involved, but she suffers from really bad separation anxiety and can be destructive if left alone. As her adopter works, this is a major problem and he has had to make the heart-breaking decision to let her go.

Roja is a lovely affectionate young podenco, perfect in every other way. She has lived happily with a cat, but would probably benefit from the company of another dog in the home. Roja needs a family with someone at home all the time and who are prepared to work with her to reduce her anxiety.

Roja is currently in foster in the UK, where she is getting on well with their existing dog, but she is quite energetic, strong and boisterous so does need space and a secure garden. She is quite big for a Podenco at 50cm. Roja needs to live with another dog.

Adoption cost in the UK is £250 although if transport costs exceed this, we may ask for a contribution towards this. We sort all the arrangements for you.
