DULZURA – THE UGLY DUCKLING THAT TURNED INTO A BEAUTIFUL SWAN

Dulzura is now unrecognizable compared to when she first arrived. Considering how young she was the awful state she was in is incomprehensible. How could someone let a dog suffer like this? But still Dulzura has never shown any malice towards people, and although shy, she has gradually learnt that some humans can be trusted. She now approaches the volunteers she knows and is happy to have a head rub and a stroke. She gets on very well with other dogs and we often see her playful side come out when her guard isn’t up. She still has a small scar on her back but all her other external wounds have healed. Her emotional ones will take a bit longer. Dulzura would be best in a home with other dogs as they help her feel confident and happy.
