Rayuela

Rayuela is a gorgeous young crossbreed who arrived at the pound in July 2026, at around 10 months of age.

She was found on the street by a kind person who saw some children trying to strangle her with a piece of rope. She immediately took Rayuela home, where she cared for her for several days until she was feeling better. She also took her to the vet, as Rayuela had fleas, and had her treated and dewormed.

Sadly, the person who rescued her was unable to keep her permanently due to not having enough space at home, so Rayuela was eventually handed over to the police and from there came to the pound.

Rayuela is a very sweet and loving young dog who has integrated well with the other dogs at the pound. She is friendly and enjoys their company, making her a lovely companion for other dogs.

She is still young and has her whole life ahead of her. We hope that her next chapter will be in a loving home where she can feel safe and secure, become part of a family and continue growing into the wonderful dog she is meant to be.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £595. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £595 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £350 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
