SUN – COULD HE BE THE LIGHT OF YOUR LIFE?
This sweet little boy is quite nervous around people but very playful with other dogs, so would benefit from a home with other friendly dogs that will help him build his confidence. He is a submissive dog and actually entertains himself with a ball on his own. A lovely small size and very cute.
December 2022: Sun and Lava went into foster together two weeks ago, yesterday Lava was adopted, so now it’s only Sun with the foster. His foster mum tell us:
Sun really seemed to miss Lava yesterday after she went, but already today he seems a bit better. He is learning to be inside a house and is doing well, all though he has chewed a couple of small things. He is learning do his business outside, he doesn’t bark in the house. I can easily put the collar on him, but he gets a bit nervous when my son or boyfriend put it on him.
The walks are now more calm when it’s only him. When Lava was with us they were playing on the leads 😅 Now he walks much better on the lead.
He is great with all dogs and cats too. He likes to play with both dogs and cats! He can be a bit shy at first with new people, but he is quickly okay and likes to greet. I think he would be best in a home with another friendly dog to give him confidence.
Sun is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.
Adoption costs to the UK £570, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you. For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.
In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
