Gloria (Was Osa) – Already in the UK

*FOSTER OR ADOPER PLEASE – ADOPTION FEE £320*

Sadly beautiful pup Gloria (was Osa) is coming back to us after a short time in the U.K. Her family are very upset at having to give her up, but are doing so in Gloria’s best interests.

Her Adopters say: Gloria is a wonderful lass who loves cuddles, face-licking (lots of it!), people fussing over her and following one around to discover all that the world has to offer to her. She absolutely adores cozying up on the sofa while snoring loudly and contentedly. Although there have been a few ‘accidents’, Gloria has been responding well to training and she’s clearly a clever dog who understands commands quickly and adapts reasonably to situations. She’s been responding well to meeting other humans and dogs, although she’s still at the nervous stage, obviously, so her owner has exercised care in how much exposure she’s had to the wider world.

Gloria is an absolute sweetheart and as happy go lucky as they come (though don’t be mistaken, she’s spirited, as befits her name). Gloria, however, needs an active family/individual who can spare time during the day to meet her energy levels, maybe retired humans or a young family. I believe Gloria would also benefit from unrestricted access to a garden so she can fulfil her thirst for adventure (within the confines of her little world at the moment, of course). While she has been provided with plenty of toys to keep herself entertained while her human is attending to work demands (including kongs, which she worked out straight away – treats are gone in 10 seconds!), Gloria requires more interaction on a much more regular basis than she’s receiving at the moment. This is why her human has made the extremely difficult decision, while the relationship is at the early stage, to find a new family for her to settle in and enable her to live the life that her physiology and nature demands.

Gloria will be the best addition to one’s family that ever was; she’s the best and deserves the best.

Osa is available for adoption in the UK.  Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK £570, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.  For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
