Buffy – a spirited, young beauty ready for her forever home!

Buffy is a dog with an unmistakable zest for life. No longer shy at the pound as she was at arrival, she now greets you with a bright smile, gently bumping into you to share her joy. Buffy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her an ideal fit for homes with canine companions.
On the lead, Buffy is a breeze to walk and isn’t fazed by other dogs, cars, horse-drawn wagons, or people passing by. She loves to explore, sniffing eagerly in the grass, and she never misses a chance for a cuddle along the way.
This lovely girl would flourish in an active household that can offer her exercise and nice outdoor adventures. Buffy especially loves splashing around in water, so access to beaches, lakes, or rivers would be a dream come true for her.
Currently, Buffy is confined to a small cage at the pound —a situation that doesn’t match her lively spirit. She deserves a loving home where she can stretch her legs, play freely, and receive the care she needs.

If you’re an active family looking for a joyful, fun-loving companion to share in your adventures, please consider giving Buffy the chance she deserves. Help her leave behind her cramped cage for a life filled with love, joy, and exploration.

November 2024: Update on Buffy in Foster Care
Buffy has been in foster care for nine days now after the pound was flooded, and her foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about her!

“She’s doing very well! To be honest, she hasn’t done anything wrong at home—not even any accidents 😊. She gets along great with other dogs and people and gets so excited to see them, which is really nice.
She absolutely loves car rides, especially when I take her to el campito 😅😂. The only time I have to tell her off is when she sneaks onto the couch 🙃, but apart from that, she is absolutely lovely.”

It’s clear that Buffy is thriving in her foster home and is making the most of her time outside the pound. She’s a happy, social girl who adores people, dogs, and adventures.
We’re thrilled to see Buffy doing so well and hope her forever family finds her soon. She deserves all the love and happiness in the world!

Buffy is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
