Benji – A Sweet Young Boy Ready to Steal Your Heart..

Benji is a lovely one-year-old boy who has just recently arrived at the pound. Even in such a short time, he has already shown himself to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. His gentle nature and friendly spirit make him a truly wonderful companion.

Recently, one of our regular volunteers took Benji on a one-day trip to the beach, and he did amazingly well. He was great in the car, friendly and kind with everyone he met, and happy to greet people with his playful, affectionate personality. As the volunteer described: “A perfect dog — I can’t find a single fault with him. He is playful, active and loving, but when it’s time to be calm, he settles without any problem. He followed me everywhere I went, even when I gave him a long lead, and he wanted to play with every dog he met.”

We truly hope Benji finds his forever home soon. Right now, he is living in a small cage — a space far too limited for such a young, loving dog who deserves so much more.

Benji deserves a home full of love, space to play, and a family who will cherish him every day.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
