ROQUEFELER – LONGING TO BE LOVED

Roquefeler arrived at the pound in June 2019 and was approximately 3-4 years old on arrival. He is male Bodeguero cross who was found wandering the streets and brought to the pound.

Height: approximately 36cm  Weight: approximately 9kg

Roquefeler is a real sweetheart. This dear little fellow is finding the pound way too chaotic and spends his time hiding away trying not to get bowled over by all the other energetic dogs. He is really happy for human attention and loves being stroked and made a fuss of. He is a low energy dog and doesn’t cause any problems at all. We would love him to find a home as quickly as possible so he doesn’t run the risk of getting injured at the pound. He would make a great little lapdog if you’re looking for a very cuddly friend.

Here he is in his own video June 2018

Give him a home and he will be your best friend

Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.

Height: approximately 65cm  Weight: approximately 35kg

Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.
