Rico, another poor dog languishing in a northern pound 

Rico is a lovely dog that arrived to the pound as a puppy and there it is more than four years later.  There seems to be no hope for him to ever make it out of the pound and we want to change this.  Why? Because he is a loving, sweet dog that will make a wonderful pet once he knows the safety and comforts of a home.

height: 45cms, Weight: 20kgs

The volunteers tells us that he is a bit shy but this may be due to sharing a kennel with two terrified dogs.  When you approach him he wags his tail incessantly and slowly comes for some attention.

The photos are showing him to be incredibly fat and this will be solved once he is on a decent food regime appropriate for him. Lack of exercise and poor diet common in the northern pounds causes the dogs to bloat. Once he is in a home, he will be a lean dog in no time.

Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females. Adoption costs to the UK £390, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.
