Bosco – a lovely boy looking for a fresh start…

Bosco is a very sweet and beautiful little dog, around 2 years old, who arrived at the pound together with Tristan. The two are currently sharing a cage and get along so well that we wonder if they might be brothers. They clearly share a deep bond, and it’s touching to see how Bosco finds comfort in Tristan’s presence when he feels a little unsure.

Bosco absolutely loves going for walks and is very good on the lead. He isn’t bothered by cars, dogs, or even cats. During one walk, he was briefly nervous when a donkey passed by—but Tristan was right there beside him, and Bosco quickly settled. It was a lovely moment that showed just how special their connection is.

Bosco is a very sweet little boy who adores human affection. He loves cuddles, and nothing makes him happier than a good belly rub. With his gentle and loving nature, we hope he won’t have to spend much longer in the pound. He truly deserves a safe and caring home where he can feel loved and secure.

Bosco and his good friend Tristan are now sharing their space with another large male dog and a female, and the group is getting along beautifully. During their short daily break on the patio, they love to run and play together, and these joyful moments truly show how sociable and friendly Bosco is.

These two lovely boys deserve the chance to thrive in a kind and supportive environment. We hope they won’t have to wait long for someone to recognise just how special they are. Please consider opening your heart and home to one—or even both—of them.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
