Angelica – the angel your home needs

Angelica is one of the dogs we rescued from the harsh pounds in the North of Spain. Whilst at the council pound she hurt a leg jumping. The council pound staff tied up her leg with a tape so tight that she nearly lost her due to lack of blood flow. When a local volunteer alerted us, we could not leave her there knowing she could get very sick, so we took her under our care.

We believe Angelica has been mistreated. She always aproaches you using very submissive and appeasing gestures. Her tummy always on the floor, crawling towards you as saying “please do not hit me”. It is incredible that in spite of this she wants human attention and love.

She is a very beautiful dog, very often compared to a beautiful polar bear.

She will suit a home with experience with dogs to continue to show her that not all humans are bad and allow her to grow in confidence. With time and love she will stop using appeasing behaviours. She will benefit from being an only dog. We know she will make a wonderful pet.

Here she is inher own video June 2019
