Bertie – in desperate need

Bertie was adopted as a vulnerable dog about 8 years ago from a shelter and has been loved and spoilt by his mum ever since. Unfortunately his mum is not very well aand with a very heavy heart needs to find a new home for her beloved companion Bertie.

Bertie is a very affectionate old chap, is very cat friendly and quiet – he rarely barks. He is afraid of other dogs unless they are docile and he gets to know them. And then he likes to play with them. Everyone who meets Bertie falls in love with him as he is so affectionate. So really he sounds perfect, however poor Bertie does not travel well in the car, he screams, so unless someone is abe to pick him up from the South of Spain and take him to the UK slowly, we think he needs to stay in Spain as any journey will be too traumatic for him.

He will make a loyal and loving companion and is used to a life of love and we really can’t allow him to go to a shelter/pound.

Can you help him?
