A sweet soul waiting for a family to love him

Brent is a really sad case. As the owners could not have him any more they dropped him at one of the northern pounds after having adopted him one year earlier. He is devastated and cannot understand what he is he doing there again.

We are looking for a home for this wonderful dog. He is not suited to pound life and needs a family to give him the attention, love and comfort he craves.

He is wonderful with other dogs. He is a bit shy with people but once he learns he can trust you he is a really loving dog. He will need an adopter who is aware that he worries in new situations and slowly helps him understand that the world can be lots of fun.

If you want to adopt this wonderful dog and bring happiness to his life please contact the adoption team who will be delighted to help you.

Give him a home and he will be your best friend

Amigo arrived at the pound in March 2018 and was approximately 9 years old on arrival. He is a large male Labrador who was handed into the pound by his owner.

Height: approximately 65cm  Weight: approximately 35kg

Another loyal companion dumped at the pound during his twilight years. Who knows why. Maybe he got in the way, maybe they bought a younger version, maybe they got bored of him. What we do know is that poor Amigo does not deserve to be in the pound and is finding the whole situation very stressful and traumatic. He is a large, strong dog who will need to be placed with someone with experience. But he is a good boy and should be easy to train and really all he wants is to play, go for walks, eat, sleep and cuddle. Not too much to ask considering what he will give back in return.

Here he is in his own video in May 2019
