INDIA – DESERVES THE BEST

This poor girl was found tied up with a slip lead outside one of the pound volunteer’s house. She was in a pitiful state. Skin and bones, trembling with fear and she could not stand straight. We thought that maybe she had injured her back but since she has been at the pound her back has totally straightened out. This leads us to believe that she had lived her life in a small space, unable to stand up. Life at the pound has been stressful for India. She struggles to relate to other dogs, possibly due to lack of previous socialisation.

Due to the potential flooding in March 2022, India went into foster with the most amazing couple she could ever have dreamed of. just in one week they have taught her so many things and she is the happiest dog ever. She has boundless energy and more love to give than is imaginable. Her one problem is that she doesn’t like other dogs. So she needs a family where she will be an only child and will be loved unconditionally. She is a very active dogs so a family that love outdoor adventures. She is so entertaining and loving and we know that a family will be very lucky to have her in their lives. The foster couple are not allowed to have dogs in their rented apartment, otherwise they would adopt her.

Here she is in his own video March 2022

India is available for adoption in Germany, UK, Finland and Spain. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.
Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK £520, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.  For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £520 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £250 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.  If the cost of transport exceeds £250 you may be asked to give an amount towards this.
