Paulo – A Sweet and Playful Young Boy

Sadly beautiful boy Paulo is coming back to us. Unfortunately he does not get on with the adopter’s existing female dog Lilly and they are very upset at having to give him up. They say Paulo is such a calm, lovely affectionate dog, but a red mist descends if he sees Lilly or if she is in the next room.

This is what the Volunteers at the pound said about Paulo: Paulo is such a funny boy, he always seems to be happy with a friendly smile on his face. He is great with the other dogs at the pound, he shares a cage with another female, and during the day they are out on the patio with lots of other dogs. He is great with people too and loves cuddles. 
Paulo loves going out on walks, at first he is very excited (probably because it happens so very rarely at the pound), but then he calms down and walks well on the lead. What a shame that he and his friends isn’t going out for walks on a regular basis.

Paulo is available for adoption in the UK.  Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK £570, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.  For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
