Vinnie

*Vinnie is already in the U.K. and currently in a foster home*

Sadly for Vinnie, his adopters circumstances have changed and they are returning him to our Charity. They say:

‘He is a lovely boy. He is very loving and even in a short space of time has begun to settle with us however we just cannot accommodate his needs. Vinnie loves his walks and is very affectionate and really good on the lead. He has a strong recall when off lead and responds well when treats are used. He is house trained and clean. We haven’t left him in the house alone yet but he can be left in rooms for short periods if he has some toys. Vinnie loves his food and has been really great around my 4 year old daughter showing no signs of aggression. He would honestly be a fantastic addition to someone who can devote lots of time to him and would suit a family, or younger person with active lifestyle. He is a young and active dog. Vinnie really loves being in a home so we would hate for him to have to go into kennels. He craves attention which can be very demanding. He is also great around other dogs’.

Vinnie’s Adopters are genuinely very sad but realise that they need to make this decision in his best interests.

Vinnie is available for adoption in the UK.  Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment.

Adoption costs to the UK £570, this includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier(using the TRACES system) by road direct to your door. We sort all the arrangements for you.  For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go on foster, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
