Pablo – UK Foster or Forever Home Needed Urgently

Pablo and Pedro are two sweet little Bodegueros,  looking for new forever homes / fosters in the UK urgently.

Pablo is 12 and was rescued in Spain several years ago and has lived happily with his adopter ever since, a couple of years ago he was joined by Pedro, another unwanted stray, around 5 or 6 years old, they have bickered noisily ever since! They do love each other but are not bonded so can be rehomed separately! Sadly their owner has become seriously unwell and can no longer care for the dogs. They are both used to cuddles and living in a home, so this is devastating for them! That is where our Charity comes in, the boys are travelling to the UK this weekend and will be going into kennels until new homes can be found.

If you would like to meet them at the kennels, this can be arranged. If you feel you could adopt or foster one of these sweet boys then please get in touch, we really dont want them to stay in kennels for very long.

FOR FOSTER THIS WILL NOT INVOLVE ANY COSTS TO YOU, THE CHARITY WILL PAY FOR FOOD AND VETERINARY COSTS. Adoption costs to the UK £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway. Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands. If we cannot deliver direct a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged. We make all the arrangements and delivery/meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £570. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £570 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £320 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
