Eimon

Eimon arrived at the pound in May 2026 at around 3 years of age. When he arrived, he was in very poor condition—little more than skin and bones. It appeared that he had been struggling to fend for himself for quite some time.

Since arriving at the pound, Eimon has shown himself to be a wonderful dog. He is great with people, sociable with other dogs, and loves being close to his human companions. He is an affectionate young Malinois who enjoys attention and likes to be involved in whatever is going on around him. He has also proven to be an obedient dog who enjoys interacting with and working alongside people.

Sadly, Eimon currently spends more than 23½ hours a day alone in a tiny cage at a busy pound. For a young, intelligent, and active Malinois, this is far from the life he deserves.

Eimon is looking for an active home that can provide him with the physical exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship he needs to thrive. He has so much potential and so much love to give. With the right family, he has every chance of becoming an incredible companion.

We are desperate to find Eimon an active home. At the moment, he spends more than 23½ hours a day alone in a tiny cage at a busy pound. This young Malinois should be exploring the world, learning new things, and sharing his life with a family. We hope someone will open their heart and home to him before he spends any longer living behind bars.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £595. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £595 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £350 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
