Coffe

Coffe arrived at the pound in September 2026, at around 10 months old. He arrived together with Milk, and we believe the two boys are brothers.

Both boys have settled into the pound remarkably well and are very sociable with people. Coffe is a little more shy than his brother, but he is a very sweet and loving young dog who enjoys attention and affection. He also gets along well with other dogs.

It is heartbreaking to think that a young dog like Coffe is already spending his days in a pound. He currently lives in a cage for more than 23½ hours a day, with only a short amount of time outside each day. This is no life for a young dog who should be discovering the world, learning, playing and growing up surrounded by love.

Coffe deserves so much more.

We hope this lovely young boy will not have to spend his puppyhood behind bars. He needs a responsible and loving family who will give him the security, care and affection he deserves and, most importantly, who will never abandon him again.

We hope Coffe’s time at the pound will be short and that soon he will be starting the happy life he should have had from the beginning. ❤️🐾

Update September 2026
Coffe was lucky to attend a big event at the land where we hope to build our future shelter. He came along from his foster home with his furry friends Rey, Lisa, Bamba and Milk, so he could experience the day and have the chance to meet potential adopters.

This is what his dedicated volunteer told us about him: Coffe is a young male who is affectionate with both adults and children. He enjoys going for walks and has a nice size as a family dog. He can be a bit persistent in his interactions with other dogs.

Sadly, nobody fell in love with Coffe that day, so he went back to the pound and Coffe is still waiting for the person who will give him the loving forever home he deserves.

This gorgeous dog is available for adoption in the UK. Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Adoption fee includes neutering, passport, microchip, all vaccinations, blood tests to screen for diseases, worm and flea treatment. Adoption cost in Spain (if no transport required) 155€ for males and €165 for females.

Adoption costs to the UK are £595. This includes all DEFRA paperwork and transport by DEFRA registered carrier ( using the TRACES system) direct to your door, except London, within the M25 motorway, Highlands of Scotland beyond Perth, and all off islands (if we cannot deliver direct, a mutually convenient meeting place will be arranged). We sort out all the arrangements and delivery/ meeting times will be advised in advance by the transporter.

For dogs brought to the UK by SSDUK to go initially into foster care, adopters will still be required to pay the full adoption fee of £595 to cover the above expenses.

In some cases, for example a failed adoption of a dog already in the UK, the fee may be reduced to £350 where the initial transport costs from Spain have already been met. This is to cover transport within the UK, kennel fees and any checks required.
